Fatboys Southern Smokehouse, YOW Welcome Group’s Night of Music – Feb. 19th (7:00PM)
Swing by Fatboys to enjoy a night of folk and rockabilly music provided by Brett Mac Lean, Meredith Luce, John Carroll and Dang Guilty, and all for a good cause. A silent auction will also be taking place, and all proceeds will be going to support the resettlement of a refugee family. Tickets are $20 in advance or $30 at the door.

Sante Restaurant, CHEZ 106 Vinyl Fridays – Feb. 19th (8:00 PM)
Dust off your favourite vinyl and join CHEZ106 host Cosmo at Sante Restaurant for back-to-back tunes and memories. Door prizes and giveaways are happening all night. Enjoy some of Sante’s exquisite contemporary small plates by talented Chef Daniel Guerra.


The Mercury Lounge, Dimensions: The Avant-Garde Cinema of Christopher Harris – Feb. 20th (7:00PM)
In the mood for some cinematic fun this weekend? Filmmaker Christopher Harris will be screening four of his unique films that celebrate Black History Month. You don’t have to worry about emptying your pockets because this event is free! If that is not enough and you’re still craving more, CBC Ottawa news co-host, Adrian Harewood is going to be the moderator for a post screening Q&A with Christopher Harris following the event.


Tabaret Hall University of Ottawa, Alice in Wonderland: A Costume Ball – Feb. 20th (6:30PM)
Get your tickets to a night of dancing, listening to live music, and all around fun. If you are looking for an excuse to dress up, this is it. There will be a raffle, fondue and don’t worry if you can’t dance because there will be English Royal Court dance lessons. Now go on and get ready, The Mad Hatter awaits.

LIVE! on Elgin, Beatlelude, with The GreyTones – Feb. 21st (7:00PM)
Winterlude is great, but what about trying something new like Beatlelude? Live covers by The GreyTones of all Beatles hits will be sure to get you out of this winter slump. Those still suffering from Beatlemania can be rest assured that a wide range of songs will be played. Let the air be filled with sounds of upbeat music, and enjoy the show.
