When I am home with my friends or family, or even when I’m home alone on a lazy Sunday afternoon, I am always looking for new fun activities to try out. If you’re anything like me and are stuck on coming up with ideas for what to do with your friends or family, try out some of my top activities to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon at home. Enjoy!

Gaming

On those days where you just want to relax at home but are still looking for entertainment, gaming is the perfect lazy Sunday activity for you and your friends. Gaming can be a great way to pass your time while staying cozy at home Ottawa. If you want to add some excitement to your gaming day, there are many different types of online poker tournaments that take place on Sundays. You can get a chance to prove your skills, strengthen your game, and indulge in some healthy competition. As long as all of your friends are of age, you can join the tournaments together. This can be a great way to compete with your friends without having to get out and do something.

Practice Yoga

Yoga is an amazing way to get the most out of your lazy Sunday at home. Contrary to popular opinion, you don’t need to attend a fancy yoga class to practice yoga. All you need is a mat or a soft blanket to practice on. There are thousands of videos on YouTube with quick and easy yoga routines that you can do from the comfort of your own home on a Sunday.

Movie Day

Why go out to a busy movie theater when you can stay inside and watch your favorite movies? All you need is some popcorn, a comfy seat, and maybe a soda, and you can create the feeling of having your own personal movie theater at home. Whether you select a certain line up like watching all of the Star Wars original trilogy films or just watching a random assortment of your all-time favorite movies, it is a great way to spend your day.

Watching your favorite movies from home has never been easier with the abundance of movie streaming platforms that are available today ranging from Netflix to Hulu to Amazon Prime. So, get bundled up in your favorite pajamas and wrap yourself in some warm blankets to really take your lazy Sunday movie day to the next level.

Gardening

Who said lazy Sundays mean you don’t have to go outside? Why not pull out some of your favorite gardening gloves and lazy clothes and have a spin in the garden. A great way to relax while gardening is to bring some headphones out with you so you can rock out to some tunes. Or, if you don’t like listening to music while pulling weeds or planting flowers, you can listen to a brand-new audio book through an audio book service like Audible. There is nothing more relaxing than listening to your favorite Harry Potter book while making your yard more beautiful. So, if you’re the type of person who wants to be more productive on their lazy Sunday, this is definitely the way to go.
