ComIT, Canadian Charity Offering Free IT Training Launches in Ottawa

ComIT is a Canadian non-profit company providing free IT training for those unemployed or underemployed who wish to expand their professional skill set and begin a career in the tech sector. The charity is expanding its locations to the Ottawa region, boasting successful stories from all over the country.

As Canada is constantly changing, it has been evident that the new normal is online. Many businesses are turning to online platforms and infrastructure, increasing the need for IT specialists.

Now is the perfect time to begin your education to guide you to the IT career you are interested in and gain the relevant tactical and soft skills that will attract future employers.

Founded by Pablo Listingart, the charitable organization aims to help others to find a fulfilling career where there is a world of opportunity. Applicants are encouraged to visit ComIT.org to apply and will be required to demonstrate a strong work ethic and a desire to work in IT. This free service helps build the technical and soft skills required to succeed in the marketplace. Despite the pandemic, numerous ComIT students have secured full-time jobs in the IT sector prior to graduating from this 3 month program.

Ever since 2017 when ComIT was launched, Listingart and his team has helped hundreds of people to secure full time jobs, allowing them to kick start their career in IT. Many of these people had no previous knowledge or experience in the field but with the help of ComIT's part time schooling, many of the students are now successfully in long term jobs and careers.

If you’d like to help others achieve their highest potential, you can make a donation at ComIT.org/donate. Any gift makes a difference!
