Norwegian dark rom-com-drama, The Worst Person in the World (2021) is directed by Joachim Tier. The film premiered at Cannes 2021, where Renate Reinsve was awarded Best Actress for her performance in the role of Julie, a young woman who struggles to find her path in both life and love.

This tale, full of twists and turns, will have you moved to tears and laughter. Featuring the music of Francis Poulenc, one of France’s greatest composers, this show presents the remarkable story of King Babar. Majestic, entertaining, and moving, this show captures the adventures of the little elephant while presenting an evocative array of musical forms: the lullaby sung by Babar’s mother, the Musette waltz of the pastries, the wedding march and polka, and the lovely finale – a nocturne bathed in moonlight.
Canada and Impressionism: New Horizons

After three years, the ever-popular Disney On Ice returns to the Canadian Tire Centre on Thursday, March 3rd, for a four-day run of its newest show, Disney On Ice presents Mickey and Friends! 613 Flea

The not-for-profit 613flea is a humongous once-a-month marketplace held in the historic Aberdeen Pavilion at Lansdowne Park. The event features an exciting (and ever-changing) lineup of over 140 vendors who offer eclectic goods, handmade treasures, and vintage finds. Makers and bakers, artists and artisans, antiques and vintage clothing, records and comics, plus great food too.

Esmaa Mohamoud: To Play in The Face of Certain Defeat

To Play in the Face of Certain Defeat is a celebration of diversity and an urgent call to action around issues of racial marginalization. Taking inspiration from the African American writer Ralph Ellison, artist Esmaa Mohamoud explores the ways in which Black bodies at once appear—and yet are rendered metaphorically invisible—within the spaces they navigate. She re-examines understandings of contemporary Blackness, questioning the definitions of Blackness as a colour and shade, and/or as a societal or cultural construction.
