Contemporary dancer Takako Segawa, an award-winning contemporary dancer and choreographer, presents Echoes: Vibrations from Japan to Canada at the Ottawa Dance Directive. This 60-minute dance piece draws inspiration from the idea that the slightest movement, such as a butterfly’s wing flutter, can resonate globally and instigate change.

The piece takes viewers on a journey through time and space, sharing echoes of Japanese culture that vibrate throughout Canada and beyond.
