Easter at the Farm

Hop over to The Canadian Agricultural Museum for a host of Easter activities. Visit the lambs, bunnies, and newly hatched chicks, or head inside the museum to discover how chocolate is made. Don’t miss the Egg Station and the Bunny Craft station. Advanced tickets only.

Hop into Spring at The Cumberland Heritage Village Museum

When: April 16, 2022

Spring has sprung at the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum, and the staff are ready to celebrate with hands-on family activities inspired by the season. There is a hay bale labyrinth, baby bunnies and other furry and feathered visitors, egg dyeing, a vintage Easter treats cooking demonstration, and more.

Launch party for Nayana

When: April 16, 2022

Head to Overflow to catch the launch party for Ottawa singer/songwriter Nayana’s new single Hellbound. In 2020, Nayana’s debut feel-good single, Pretty Good To Be Here, was added to Sirius XM CBC Country on the day it was released and jumped to the top 45 list in just two weeks. Now I’m Drunk, her follow-up single has been streamed over 500,000 times and added to 8,000 playlists.

Casey Corbin

Ottawa comedian Casey Corbin Even has managed to keep his career moving forward despite the pandemic. In January of 2021, he appeared in an episode of Humour Resources with Jon Dore. Also in the episode were the Lucas Brothers and Nikki Glaser. The Just For Laughs produced show aired nationwide on CBC and can now be found on CBC Gem. Casey had a breakthrough year as a Spotify artist with four comedy albums on the platform.

Easter At The Bunker

Located in Carp, the Diefenbunker has held an Easter egg hunt on Easter weekend for the past few years – this year, it is on Friday, April 15th. With hundreds of places to hide in the 100,000-square-foot bunker, it makes for a fun Easter egg hunt for all ages!

Metcalfe Farmers’ Market

This Saturday, the Metcalfe Farmers’ Market kicks off their 2022 season with the Easter Market. A ton of vendors will be there selling everything from Easter flowers, baked goods, jewellery, crafts, produce, and so much more.

Jojo Live at the Bronson Centre

Mothering Sunday

Based on Graham Swift’s 2016 novel, Mothering Sunday follows Jane Fairchild, a maid in the Niven household. She has the day off to celebrate Mothering Sunday (also known as Mother’s Day) while her employers, Mr. and Mrs. Niven, attend a lunch to celebrate the engagement of their neighbour’s only remaining son. Set in 1924, the period drama features a star-studded cast. It is a film about chance, modernity, and how human life is sometimes altered by the most innocuous and unexpected developments.
