Imagine Monet: The Immersive Exhibition

Get completely enveloped in the Impressionist paintings of Claude Monet, the father of Impressionism: a modern style of painting that celebrated nature and the outdoors, not simply as a backdrop but often as the subject itself. William Seitz, the curator at MoMA and curator of the Monet exhibition, has removed the frames from the paintings and invites the viewers to enter into the paintings.

5k Foamfest Fun Run

The 5K Foam Fest is a one-of-a-kind obstacle course fun run in support of Make A Wish Canada. All ages (Seven years of age and above) can run the course’s 20 obstacles, including the world's largest inflatable waterslide, mud pits, and 2.5 million cubic feet of foam! The 5K Foam Fest is an exciting challenge for experienced and beginner runners. Spectators have free access to the festival area, vendors, and beer garden.

RBC BluesFest: Rage Against The Machine

Outerbridge Clockwork Mysteries

Famous magical arts performing couple Ted and Marion Outerbridge will perform their world-renowned show Clockwork Mysteries this summer in Smiths Falls, a short drive from Ottawa. The 2011 Ontario Contact award-winning show is a spectacle combining magic, theatre, and dance into one outstanding performance centred around a mysterious clock tower with other-worldly devices, including a Victorian time machine.

H.O.P.E. Volleyball Summerfest

The world’s Largest one-day volleyball tournament in support of local Ottawa charities, H.O.P.E. brings together 1000 co-ed teams of 6–10 players to play up to 5 games of volleyball and compete for prizes and bragging rights.
NOTE: H.O.P.E. encourages people to ride their bikes to the site. Parking is limited but available at the Marina Parking lot, and free parking at the Canada Post lot.

Ottawa Lebanese Festival

The Ottawa Lebanese Festival brings the rich diversity of the Ottawa-Lebanese community with five days of Middle Eastern entertainment, crafts and artwork vendors, midway rides and games. . . and delicious food!
Note: The midway rides open at 4 pm on weekdays and 11 am on weekends. Free parking is available behind the Canada Post offices with the entrance to the parking lot from Brookfield Road.
