Dreaming about your feet sinking into warm sand, instead of numbing snow? Meliã Nassau Beach is the vacation location for you.
Meliã Hotels International, one of the largest resort hotel companies in the world, has just updated its Meliã Nassau Beach resort in the Bahamas, making an already luxurious experience even more spectacular.
Located along the white sanded Cable Beach at the north of the island, the piece of paradise is in the country’s capital and close to its cultural centre, shops, restaurants and night spots. Besides visiting tourist locations within Nassau, such as the Pirates of Nassau Museum and Parliament Square, there is little reason to leave the resort grounds.
The recent $19 million (US) renovations primarily went towards the creation of more dining venues with delicious and diverse international and regional cuisine. Some of the featured restaurants include Nikkei, which has a fused menu of Japanese, Cantonese and Peruvian cuisine, Cilantro, which offers a variety of Mexican flavours and The Black Angus, which serves quality steakhouse meals.
Prices at Meliã Nassau Beach begin at $200 (CAN) per night for a 330-square-foot room with two double or one king-size bed and can go over $2,000 for the larger, suite-styled rooms.
For over 50 years Meliã has been offering unreal vacations for people wanting to explore and unwind. This winter, take advantage of the newly renovated Meliã Nassau Beach, and thaw your toes in its tropical waters.
