Celebrate Amazing Thailand at Lansdowne!

Have you always dreamed about visiting Thailand or want to learn more about the beautiful country and its rich culture? Well, you’re in luck! On August 5th, The Royal Thai Embassy in Ottawa is bringing a taste of South East Asia to the city with the Amazing Thailand Festival!

This exciting event, taking place at the historic Horticulture Building at Lansdowne Park and is free to attend, will showcase various parts of Thai culture through a series of showcases, activities and vendors such as traditional food tastings, musical and martial arts performances, handmade products and accessories, a fruit carving demonstration and much more. If you want to chill out for a bit, you can even try out a relaxing and healing Thai massage! If you want to bring the kiddos along, no problem at all, the festival will feature a kids’ corner complete with crafts and other kid-friendly activities for the little ones to enjoy.

Representatives from the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thailand’s Board of Investment and other organizations will also be present, so if you’re planning a Thai getaway, this is a great place to get the 411 on all the country has to offer.
