Damage Media Group (DMG) has today announced that it has acquired CasinoHeadlines.com and its associated assets and domains in a move to further strengthen and grow its presence in the iGaming industry. The acquisition of the site, which has been operational since 2003, marks the second acquisition by DMG in the past six months. The purchase is set to be finalized by November 1st, following which a full website launch will be expected by February 2022.
Redesign announced ahead of the launch
Casinoheadlines.com was a B2C online portal that has gained traction with both casino and sportsbook players. It was developed by a core team of iGaming enthusiasts with years of experience in managing other brands, featuring a wide variety of articles and guides on the topic of casino games, sports betting, poker rules and strategies, as well as other relevant areas central to the industry.
Ahead of its official launch next year, the website will undergo a complete overhaul in terms of design and functionality with the aim to make the platform more appealing to its audience.
The site will be migrated to the managed WordPress hosting platform Kinsta and will feature the NewsPaper Pro theme from TagDiv, a premium feature-rich newspaper layout ideal for news publication. The updated platform will be mobile-friendly and will have a cleaner and more streamlined look to provide a better viewing experience across all devices. DMG has dedicated the majority of the fourth quarter of 2021 to revamp the website and the changes are expected to enhance the user experience and increase website traffic.
