For more farm fun, why not visit Valleyview Little Farm this weekend? The farm will be officially re-opening for the season on the 14th and kicking off with a huge Easter egg hunt. Hundreds of colourful eggs will be hidden throughout the farm and guests are free to hunt for them throughout the weekend. The egg hunt runs daily from 9:30AM to 4PM and is free to participate in with regular farm admission. Consult the Valleyview Little Farm website here for admission prices, directions and more.
Easter at the Estate – Billings Estate National Historic Site (April 15th, 2017)
The Billings Estate National Historic Site, a gorgeous 19th century home on eight acres of property, does not start its visiting season until May, but every year they offer a special day of Easter activities. This year, the estate will be open to the public on the 15th, hosting an egg hunt, egg dyeing workshops and other crafts. It also serves as a great opportunity to just explore the beautiful architecture and grounds of the estate. Further information about activities, admission costs and opening hours are available here.
