Arboretum

The museum's collection is constantly being expanded, and today there are many exhibits relating to the New Age.
Parks
There are three parks on the west bank of the Rideau River – Strathcona Park and the adjoining Dutchies Hole and Robinson Field. They also have playgrounds, Strathcona Park has had a baseball field for almost 100 years and Dutchies Hole has a football field.
In summer the park's water holes are home to swans, including the black Australian, and in winter the park's hills are great for sledding, stand-up paddleboarding and even snowboarding.

One of the most popular family attractions remains Pirate Adventures theme park. Those who enjoy thrilling pirate stories will love it. Children take part in exciting shows. Several ships for children's pirate battles are built in the park.
