Ottawa is the capital of Canada and has lots going on, especially during the summer months. Let’s take a look at what you can do if you decide to visit this magnificent city. You not only get fantastic people that make the city what it is but extraordinary events too.

Kite Nights is a glorious event where people can bring their own kites to Westwood Park and be given a light kit. There will be cracking music and face painting with balloon twisters too. It starts from 6 pm-10 pm and goes down at Westwood Park from the 15th of July.
Maze Days happens at Saunders farm; there are giant puzzles and hedge mazes worldwide. These fantastic mazes test skills and patience in every way. There is a labyrinth of mazes to try and complete. Lots of fun to be had here. From July and August, a ticket will cost $20.
As you can see, living in the capital of Canada, you have many options open to you. The city is full of events and things to keep you busy. There is officially just one million people living in the city, so there is plenty of space and not too many crowds.
You can find a little of everything when you visit Ottawa – one of the most charming cities in CA. It is a very outdoor city with miles of cycle tracks for its healthy residents to use. It is a bilingual city with many people speaking French and English. If you are interested in history and architecture, then Wellington or Sparks street will be great for you. They feature some fantastic parliament buildings which are sure to inspire.
There is little of everything when you visit Ottawa. There are some fabulous places to eat and fuel yourself for further investigating the city delights. If you are looking for a fantastic sandwich, try out Dirienzo’s. It is an excellent place for amazing sandwiches and Dim Sum. Local food consists of beautiful poutine and cheese curd with gravy. This is a French Canadian dish.
If you want to add some serious calories, try out the beavertail, a dessert in the shape of, you guessed it, a beavertail. It is a doughnut-type pastry with Nutella covered all over it, fabulous! So overall, Ottawa, the capital of Canada, has everything you could possibly require in a city.
