How you can consume marijuana: 5 different ways
Have you used the same old method of marijuana consumption for years and want to try out something new? With all of the new products available and new technology in the cannabis industry, are you curious about what you should try next?
In 2020, marijuana was the most popular drug in America. It has been for many years now. While there are several factors that have contributed to this rise in popularity, one reason stands out: legalization.
The majority of Americans support legalized weed and with more states joining each year, it's not hard to see why. Because marijuana was illegal for such a long time, and because of the slight stigma associated with it, most people don't know how to consume it. So, if you're interested in learning more, here are five different ways that you can consume marijuana.
Using Bongs and Joints
These are by far the most popular products on the cannabis market and they're also the ones that have been around for the longest. This might be because they are also one of the cheapest methods of consumption.
As you will see below, bongs and dab rigs are similar except for the fact that instead of using cannabis concentrates bongs use marijuana and combustion to create smoke that is inhaled. Bongs are a great way to smoke. They can come in all shapes and sizes, and you can even find a stylish LV bong at Molino Glass, but ultimately they all work similarly by using water as a filter for the smoke. Joints also allow for you to inhale cannabis smoke in the same way that you would smoke a cigarette. You will feel the effects of both of these within a few minutes and they will last for a few hours.
Using A Dab Rig
Our second consumption method on this list is a new edition to the marijuana industry and has only been around for the last few years. This device is a dab rig. A dab rig looks very similar to that of a bong. It is a water pipe that cools down the smoke before it hits your lungs. However, unlike the bong which makes use of marijuana itself, a dab rig uses a cannabis concentrate.
A dab rig consists of the body of the rig – which houses the mouthpiece – the water chamber, the pipe, and the nail where the concentrate is placed. This method of consumption works by heating the concentrate on a nail that is preheated. This creates a vapor that goes through the water chamber, cools down, and enters your lung while you inhale.
This method of consumption is great for those who are looking for a bit more of a hit than you would find with a bong because of the fact that you use concentrate. These concentrates have a much higher ratio of THC and can therefore give you a much stronger high with a much smaller amount of product.
Using A Dry Herb Vaporizer
The next product that we have on our list is dry herb vaporizers. While you may have already heard about vaporizers, you might not have heard about dry hardware prices as they are relatively new to the market. However, they are one of the most innovative and effective ways to consume marijuana.
Dry herb vaporizers are essentially just like regular vaporizers but make use of marijuana instead of a cannabis concentrate. You will feel the effects similar to that of smoking with them kicking in within a few minutes and lasting a good few hours. This is said to be a great alternative to smoking and is also far more convenient than any other method of consumption post-op
Applying it to the skin
Topical applications of cannabis have become increasingly popular over the last few years, especially for those who suffer from chronic pain and inflammation and need some help with it, without the use of pain medication.
cannabis works similarly to pain medication without any of the side effects. Whether you want to use a gel, ointment, or cream, or even something else, there is bound to be something for you.
Eating It
Last but not least we have a product that is rising in popularity, and this is edibles. In the past, many people thought of edibles as just brownies or cookies that you had to make at home, but now you can buy them at any registered dispensary, and you are not restricted to just baked goods.
If you are interested in making use of edibles there are all sorts of different products to try from candy to snacks, to beverages, to even meals that have been infused with cannabis in some way or another. One of the best parts about consuming cannabis by eating edibles is that the effects, although they take a very long time to kick in, last a whole lot longer than that of smoking marijuana.
