Day four of LG Fashion Week started with Sarah Stevenson’s designs in the studio tent with models standing next to easels which referenced the material their dresses were made from. The artistic designer placed cut-out blooms on the sheath dresses and the collection varied from skirt separates to Grecian floor length gowns. With florals popping up all over the spring runways at fashion week, it is without a doubt that this trend is here to stay.
Montreal based jewelry designer Caroline Neron displayed her dazzling collection of long chains, bracelets and earrings. Models were dressed in body suits covered in jewelry from head to toe. The bronzed goddesses wore the jewelry in unique ways providing front row fashionistas with a new way to spice up a neutral outfit. Caroline Neron jewelry can be purchased online at bijouxcarolineneron.com and at many stores across Quebec.
Vawk went glam with sleek eveningwear creations closing out the day. The elegant dresses by designer Sunny Fong consisted of belts, bustiers and gold-plated pieces which were expertly crafted. The soft palette of mocha, blush and seafoam hues balanced the structured designs. Cutouts were the theme throughout the collection appearing in gowns, suits and sheaths. Not only did Vawk display versatility throughout his collection but he also had a mature and a full figured model. Vawk is available at The Room at The Bay in Toronto and Vancouver, so you will have to make the trip to pick up one of these constructed numbers.
