Exciting new scholarship from Mijem Newcomm Technology Inc and the Bitcoin Association for BSV introduces students to cryptocurrency.
With the rising costs of university and college, and the lack of socialization students have experienced over the last two years, post-secondary schools can seem like a foreign place, and an expensive one too!
The strange Covid times that pivoted all learning online are behind us, and students will be heading back to campus in the fall. But there’s even more good news for students.
Canadian-based social media and technology company Mijem Newcomm Technology Inc. has announced a new tuition scholarship prize for eligible Canadian and American students. With a total prize of $5000, half in cash and half in Bitcoin SV, the scholarship is thanks to a partnership between Mijem and the Bitcoin Association for BSV.
Mijem is a campus community-based buy-and-sell app designed for Gen Z’ers and post-secondary students and has been installed by thousands of students across more than 1,500 colleges and universities in North America. The app provides a secure, safe, and convenient platform to sell anything from electronics to textbooks and clothing, helping connect people and create new peer groups while saving money and fostering a more sustainable way of living.
But that’s not all; the Mijem app helps users find events hosted in and around campus, ranging from study groups to yoga or workout sessions. You can also post about an event and even find rideshares. It all starts by simply joining your local campus community in the app. If you’re new to campus or haven’t been in-person in a couple of years, the Mijem app is a great way to reconnect with what’s going on in and around your school.
Mijem also offers a buyer protection plan that protects its members if they don’t receive an order or if an item is substantially different than described. The Mijem app includes some great features that you won’t find on other classified apps. One of the coolest is the redeemable points reward system that can be converted to Bitcoin SV cryptocurrency, a growing digital payment form used to exchange goods and services.
It’s also a form of payment that Gen Z is well acquainted with. In fact, you could say that Gen Z is already ahead of the curve. Fifty percent of Gen Z see the benefits of cryptocurrency as a future currency option, and they already hold 17 per cent of the cryptocurrency market—quite the feat for the second-youngest generation.
With the Mijem/Bitcoin Association for BSV tuition scholarship, students will have an extra $2500 cash for their education and $2500 in Bitcoin SV that can be used to purchase goods and services anywhere BSV is accepted. For student entrepreneurs, it’s a great way to build a profile in cryptocurrency with a secure blockchain and enter the rapidly growing currency market of the future.
To enter the giveaway contest, students must be of the age of majority, Mijem account holders (no purchase required), legally reside in Canada (excluding Quebec), and be enrolled in the Summer or Fall 2022 semester at a post-secondary college or university in Canada or the United States.

The contest closes on June 13, 2022. The lucky winner will be selected by a random draw and notified by June 27, 2022, on Mijem’s social media channels.
