You could feel the excitement at the pre-gala party held at LAGO Bar for the soon-to-be-opened Nordstrom store at the Rideau Centre. It was a night of celebration and recognition of the two charities that will benefit from the gala scheduled for Wednesday, March 4th.
Proceeds from the event will go to United Way Ottawa and the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
At the Nordstrom gala in March, fashion enthusiasts will be able to get the first glimpse of the new store as they are treated to hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, dinner and desserts, live entertainment and a spring fashion presentation. Attendees will also be among the first to shop the new 157,000 square-foot store.
In preparation for the grand opening of the second Nordstrom in Canada, the gala host committee was in attendance at the pre-gala party to discuss the final details of the big event.
The gala host committee includes Mark Sutcliffe, Mary Taggart, Michael Allen, Diane Aubé Lazenby, Jane Bachynski, Yaprak Baltacioglu, Honorable Mauril Bélanger, Julie Beun, Erin Blaskie, Barbara Crook, Linda Eagen, Paula Farrell, Susan Firestone, Robert Fonberg, Claire Lauzon, Dawn MacKay, Craig O’Brien, Kash J.
