The good people of Ottawa are in for a treat. The duo of Alan Cuming and Ari Shapiro are bringing their Och & Oy A Considered Cabaret Show to the Meridian Theatre at Centrepointe.
Ari Shapiro, a journalist with NPR, was interviewing Cumming one day, and the next thing you know, they have a show and are touring together.
Alan Cumming is an extremely versatile performer, having won multiple awards, including BAFTA, Emmy, and Tony Awards, across multiple disciplines, including acting, music and theatre.
The duo may seem unlikely, but after speaking with them, they appear ideally suited. Their cabaret-style show is the type of humour and entertainment that will serve as a much-needed distraction in these times.
