Ottawa Photographer Wins Premier Canadian Photographic Artist of the Year Award!

Ottawa Photographer Randy Shaughnessy, owner of Shaughnessy Photography, recently won the premier Canadian Photographic Artist of the Year Award from the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) Association!  The 2013 National Image Salon Competition of the Professional Photographers of Canada was exhibited during the Canadian Imaging Conference and Trade Show, the Annual Convention of the PPOC, in Vancouver. Judged prior to the Convention by a panel of Master Photographers from across Canada, Randy received his award at the PPOC Banquet in Vancouver in mid-April.

Furthermore, Randy is the recipient of the Ontario Photographic Artist of the Year 2012 Award by the Professional Photographers of Canada and winner of the award for Best in Class in the Animal – Wild/Domestic category for Ontario. Randy is an accredited Member of the PPOC in the Portraiture, Travel Illustration, Fine Art / Photo Decor, Pictorial / Scenic, Nature, Animal Portrait, Wildlife, Wedding Story, Night Photography, Architecture, Animals and Studio Portrait categories.
