Outerbridges Keyhole House Holiday Magic Show Will Give you Chills

Illusionists and Hollywood’s Magic Castle headliners Ted & Marion Outerbridge will cast their spell on Ottawa with their Holiday Magic Show for the entire family at the Ottawa Little Theatre, Dec 26 -31!

In the heart of Smiths Falls, Ted and Marion Outerbridge have opened the door on a mysterious home that was harbouring a grand secret and have unwittingly unleashed a world of enchantment. The story of the home sets the stage for a magical extravaganza, where the past and present intertwine in a dance of grand illusions, comedy-magic, and mind-bending mentalism. Welcome to Outerbridge Magic and the Mysteries of the Keyhole House.

The tale begins with the Keyhole House, a historic gem now lovingly restored by Ted and Marion. This charming home witnessed midnight meetings and séances that sought counsel from the “great beyond.” The previous owner, Robert Brodie, played a pivotal role in naming the Right Honorable William Lyon Mackenzie King as the Liberal Leader, setting the stage for King’s two-decade tenure as Canada’s leader. Today, the Keyhole House stands as a sanctuary, guarded by the Outerbridges, who, with meticulous care, have revived its creaking floors and uncovered a treasure trove of relics from bygone eras.

The magic of the Keyhole House took a digital leap into the viral universe through Ted’s captivating social media videos. These videos, marrying history with the digital age, garnered over 30 million views and made headlines on CTV National News, TVO documentary, and NBC’s The Golf Channel. The Keyhole House became an international sensation, drawing attention not just for its historical significance but also for the mystical occurrences that Ted and Marion experienced within its walls.

The genesis of the Outerbridge’s Mysteries of the Keyhole House traces back to the couple’s quest for an old Victorian home, culminating in a serendipitous encounter with the Keyhole House. Despite initial hesitations from banks and building inspectors, the Outerbridges moved in on a cold November day, and the Keyhole House reciprocated with magical revelations of its storied past. From the very first night, Ted encountered the spirit of Agnes Lamb, one of the house’s first owners, in an aura of bright light. To this day, the couple’s slumber is occasionally disrupted by mysterious things that go bump in the night.

Ted’s meticulous research into the history of the Keyhole House unveiled stories of its former residents, including WWI veteran John Briggs, a returning soldier who found solace within the Keyhole House before his untimely demise due to a heart attack. Ted spearheaded an appeal to the federal government’s ‘Last Post Fund’ to ensure John received a military gravestone, immortalizing his service. Through the power of TikTok videos and Ted’s Smiths Falls History & Mystery column in Hometown News, the Outerbridges rallied township funds to restore Agnes Lamb’s tomb, ensuring that her legacy and those of others would not fade into the annals of time.

Outerbridge Magic sets itself apart from other magic shows, evolving into a real-time celebration of the departed. It serves as a living bridge between reality and illusion, past and present, weaving a narrative that resonates with audiences of all ages. As Ted and Marion Outerbridge transport spectators back in time through enthralling illusions, theatre, and dance, they invite us to witness the mystical journey that unfolds within the walls of the Keyhole House. Step into the magic, where every creaking floorboard whispers a tale, and the line between the seen and the unseen blurs in the enchanting embrace of Outerbridge Magic.
