Yellow Tomato & Fresh Herb Farfalle
Serves: 6 Prep time: 20 minutes Cook time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
4 cups PC black label Farfalle Pasta
2 tbsp Olive oil
1/4 cup finely chopped shallots
2 tbsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp hot pepper flakes
1 can PC black label Whole Yellow Tomatoes, chopped
1?4 cup thinly sliced fresh basil
2 tbsp chopped fresh Italian parsley
2 tbsp chopped fresh tarragon
1 tsp sea salt
1?4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/3 cup crumbled PC Soft Unripened Goat’s Milk Cheese
How to:
In saucepan of boiling water, cook pasta for 7 to 9 minutes or until tender but firm. Drain. 2. Meanwhile, in large nonstick frying pan, heat oil over medium heat; cook shallots, garlic and hot pepper flakes for 2 to 3 minutes.
Stir in Whole Yellow Tomatoes and juices, basil, parsley, tarragon, salt and pepper.
Bring to a simmer; cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add drained pasta to sauce; stir to combine. Transfer to serving bowl; sprinkle with cheese.
