Rayannah releases first full length album in both French and English
Following the release of her two 2018 singles, Winnipeg-born artist Rayannah has released her first full-length album, titled “Nos Repaires (Our Haunts)”. Co-produced by Rayannah herself and Ponteix's Mario Lepage and mixed by Pandaléon's Fred Levac, the digital version of the album was released on March 8 as a way of celebrating International Women’s Day.
The bilingual LP, featuring songs in both French and English, captures Rayannah’s unique style of music which combines a number of different types of sounds and music genres, all paired with her thought-provoking lyrics to create melodious type of techno-soul. French and English are not the only thing juxtaposed in her new album. Rayannah pulls listeners into a world that is both dark and sweet.
In other great news for the young artist, Rayannah was recently nominated by the Trille Or Gala (an event happening May 1-2) for “Chanson primée,” “Vidéoclip,” and “Export Ouest,” for her single, “En Attendant”.
Innovative not only in the studio but also on stage, Rayannah has announced her Europe/Canada tour which will run March 23 to April 12. She will be playing in Switzerland, France, Germany, Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal. Check out her website for more details.
