Shrimp and Vegetables in Vodka Sauce

Hey, shrimp lovers… Do you want to try something new?

This new recipe is so tasty and flavourful and so very nutritious. I am a big shrimp fan so I prepared this recipe with large-sized fresh shrimp and have added a fair amount of fresh vegetables. Try this recipe and indulge in a significant amount of essential amino acids, B12, Omega 3 fatty acids and antioxidants!

This meal tastes best with a side of fluffy steamed rice (brown rice is recommended).

Here is what you will need:

Ingredients:

30-50 shrimps uncooked with tails on or cooked with tails off (optional)

One small bunch of fresh kale chopped fine

1 bunch of fresh green shallots chopped fine

1 bunch or cup of fresh chopped coriander

2 cups of fresh broccoli

2 cups of assorted fresh colored peppers sliced

4 garlic cloves crushed

1/3 cup of vodka

1 jar of marinara or rose sauce (non-preserved)

1 tsp of salt

1 tsp of roaster garlic and pepper seasoning

Pinch of black pepper

1 tbs olive oil or coconut oil

Set your stove on medium-high heat and begin by adding one tbs of oil to large frying pan and stir in shallots, garlic and coriander and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Next add Kale, broccoli, peppers and shrimps and cook for another 5 minutes.

Stir in vodka and marinara sauce with salt, pepper and roasted garlic seasoning and simmer on medium-low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.

Serve on top of white or brown rice. Sliced avocado on the side can add more great taste and a boost of nutrients to your tasty dish.

ENJOY!
