Justin Hines has seen many of his dreams come true, including his fourth studio album How We Fly, featuring the hit song Lay My Burdens Down. Through the generous support of his fans, Justin is hoping to have another dream come true with the recent launch of his Vehicle of Change tour campaign through Pledgemusic.com. A true philanthropist, Justin understands that people in need are everywhere and he didn’t want to limit himself to just one cause. The concept is simple – Justin wants to raise money to cover his touring costs so he can visit as many towns, cities and communities in North America and give 100% of funds raised at the events to local charities.
“I’ve never wanted to attach myself to just one organization, but rather as many as possible. Everyone needs help, so we’re going to donate 100% of proceeds back to the local charity at each stop. Hopefully, through this tour, we can help others reach their goals and bring awareness to their cause.”
In each town, the Vehicle of Change tour will hook Justin up with a different charity or organization. That charity will host a concert and all money raised at the show will be donated to the charity/organization. The concert can be big or small (a soft-seater, a town hall, church, school gymnasium, even a street corner). The type of event is up to the charity, based on what they want the event to achieve (e.g. fund-raising, awareness, new donors.) Justin’s role will be to sing, to engage, to entertain, and to help the charity help themselves and their community.
“This tour is something I always dreamed of doing, but never thought possible. It’s a way for me to give back and to bring awareness to so many amazing causes. I hope to raise enough money to get on the road and support these charities through fundraising events.”
PledgeMusic is a direct-to-fan community that offers fans unique and exclusive experiences and merchandise and helps artists raise funds for their musical pursuits. Justin has created a list of exciting exclusive rewards and unique experiences that he will offer his fan base. Some of these include a private listening party at his recording studio, the chance to record a song with him and his band, a beautifully illustrated book of his song lyrics, and a long list of other merchandise.
With the experience of signing to a U.S major label under his belt, a slew of positive reviews for his last album, Days to Recall, a massive PBS television special (which aired in North America over 400 times) and a guest slot on CBS Sunday Morning, Justin is looking forward to an exciting year filled with endless possibilities.
