The world-class, high energy, magic show “OUTERBRIDGE – Clockwork Mysteries” at the Smiths Falls Theatre was a must-see show this summer and a big hit with audiences. People laughed, stared and watched in wonder at the dance and theatrical performances that took place on stage.
Ted and Marion Outerbridge have been described by critics as “a master of Illusion” (CBC-Radio Canada). It is easy to see why they’ve earned critical acclaim as “champions of magic” whose performance is “a visual feast” (Jinhua Daily, China).
Part of the fun is the audience participation. The Outerbridges create illusions with split-second artistry. The audience is then invited into the mysterious clock tower equipped with a variety of timekeeping devices including an elaborate Victorian time machine. The performers and spectators become part of a race against time. They experience time speeding up, slowing down and even get to participate in predicting the contents of a time capsule.
It’s simply spectacular! For years, the Outerbridges have performed all around the world, including Europe, China, Las Vegas and Hollywood. This summer, the Outerbridges relocated to Smiths Falls and, if you missed the show this summer, you'll have the chance to see them live in the coming months as Ted and Marion will be continuing these wildly entertaining and captivating performances in the Ottawa Valley!
