Sun, Sand and Non-Stop Entertainment at HOPE Volleyball SummerFest

Prepare yourself for the party of the summer!

The 33rd annual HOPE Volleyball SummerFest is back and better than ever.

Taking place this Saturday, July 11 at Mooney’s Bay Beach, HOPE Volleyball SummerFest is the largest outdoor one-day beach volleyball tournament in world. The event attracts more than 10,000 players who participate on 1,032 teams in 4 divisions—all in one crazy day!

But you don’t have to be registered with a team to participate in the festivities. Thousands of spectators come out every year for fun, sun, fresh air, cold drinks and non-stop entertainment. The line-up of live performers sets the tone for a fantastic event. Beginning at 11 a.m., don’t miss School of Rock, Lemon Cash, Cast in Cadence, The Lionyls and July Talk. Sam Roberts Band takes the stage at 5:30 p.m. to finish off the day.

Bustling with activities and excitement, HOPE Volleyball SummerFest brings the community together to celebrate summer in true Canadian fashion, all for a good cause!

HOPE is committed to raising money for local charities and has donated more than 3.5 million dollars to over 110 charities over the years. Together with the support of participants, volunteers, sponsors and the community at large, this year’s HOPE Volleyball SummerFest is supporting the Perley & Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre Foundation, Caring and Sharing Exchange, ALS Society of Canada, Education Foundation of Ottawa, Ottawa Network for Education and Easter Seals Ontario.

A day at the beach to support the community? What could be a better way to spend your Saturday! Grab some friends and check it out for a guaranteed day of great volleyball and spectacular music.

Good luck to all the players!
