The Executive Mom Must-Have Kitchen List
It’s really no secret that I am about as talented in the kitchen as the Grinch Who Stole Christmas is with his emotions. To illustrate my point, feel free to watch the kitchen segment of Daytime Ottawa where Derick and I feature the Egg Farmers of Ontario.
That being said, I have collected what I consider the kitchen must haves that every executive mom needs in her home. Life is busy and I have very specific preferences, so I needed to find a way to master some basic necessities. As you can tell, I am partial to the Cuisinart® collection as I like their overall aesthetic appeal and price point and they have proven to be functionally fabulous as well.
The Cuisinart® Manual Espresso Maker enables me to make the perfect cup of java every time, which used to be hit or miss, plus I truly enjoy the early morning routine of making that perfect cup. Just imagine a cup of your favourite espresso, cappuccino or latte, fresh and flavourful, anytime you want it. The Cuisinart® Espresso Maker allows you to make espresso in your own kitchen, then use the stainless steam nozzle and frothing cup to turn it into cappuccino or latte- just like the pros!
The Cuisinart® Supreme Grind™ Automatic Burr Mill is the perfect match for your espresso maker if you enjoy freshly ground beans. The Burr Mill consistently delivers beans that provide for optimum flavour and aroma.
The Cuisinart® Round Classic Waffle Maker is beyond easy and cooking Sunday breakfast becomes a pleasurable task. Top with some fresh fruit and local maple syrup and you have yourself a fabulous brunch in a matter of minutes.
The most recent addition to my Cuisinart® collection is the Rice Cooker that also doubles as a veggie steamer…how amazing is that?! Just add water, rice and your veggies in their respective compartments, press cook and presto…perfect every time and clean up is a breeze!
Finally, you will notice the Starbucks milk frother in the picture above as well. Even though my espresso maker can froth the milk, I prefer the results that I achieve with this one, especially when making our cocoa fabulous hot chocolate. Click here for that recipe!
So there you have it, my top five kitchen recommendations for the hard to shop for, busy executives on your list.
Creatively yours,
Brandelyn
