In 1977, Manna Kabani founded Les Galets pastry shop, and decided to offer to the public her unique pastries, the recipes of which were passed on from one generation to the next in her family. In the 1970s, Manna was an employee at the U.S. Embassy in Tunis and participated in organizing several social events. Generous and passionate about cuisine, she often brought to these events pastries that she prepared with love in her own small kitchen.  It’s only when she noticed the excitement that her pastries elicited among her colleagues that she decided to take the plunge and open her own pastry shop. Thirty-six years later, clients from around the world can at last order these pastries online and taste them from the comfort of their home.
