Capital Bachata Festival

Dance away the winter blues at The Capital Bachata Festival. It's four days of Latin dance workshops, social dancing, performances, and competition with something for every level. Beginners can take a two-hour Bachata Dance Crash Course, while experienced dancers can opt for the special Bachata Intensive class with Tina Cavicchio. After being inspired by some incredible shows from local, national, and international performers, spend the evening taking what you learned out on the dance floor until 3 am!

Winter Celebration at Rideau Hall

Young and old alike will have fun outside while participating in winter sports and activities on the grounds of the official residence of the governor general. Discover Rideau Hall’s beautiful winter grounds. Lace up your skates and skate on the outdoor rink; stop at the residence to visit the State rooms; bring gently used winter outerwear for the Snowsuit Fund — donation bins will be available at each entrance.

NOTE: A free Winterlude shuttle bus will run in a loop from downtown (Metcalfe Street) to Rideau Hall every hour between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., with the last bus departing Rideau Hall at 4:30 p.m. Limited parking for persons with mobility restrictions will be available on the Rideau Hall grounds via the Princess Gate on a first come, first served basis (accessible parking permit required).


Ben and Jonah's Magic Road Trip
