This medium roast coffee is true to its Mexican roots, with a festive blend of fruity notes, intense flavours and a lively, balanced finish.
The beans used in Van Houtte® Mexico Signature Fairtrade whole bean coffee are produced throughout the country, including by farmers of the GRAPOS Fairtrade cooperative, located in the region of Chiapas. With the Faitrade Premium they were able to provide essential services to their members, such as access to financial and technical assistance, farming tools and supplies, as well as community development programs.
Beyond supporting the cooperative through their Fairtrade purchases, Van Houtte® has assisted members of the GRAPOS cooperative through a supply chain grant to improve coffee production and quality by training farmers on climate-friendly techniques and to improve food security by supporting farmers to diversify their economic activities.
