WWE Superstar Chelsea Green is a prime example of determination and never giving up. The Victoria, British Columbia native, like many wrestlers, trained in Calgary and spent a lot of time on the independent circuit. She has appeared on WWE programming through the years, but for one reason or another, it didn’t work out. In life, you tend to learn more from your losses, and Chelsea certainly seems to have done that. She returned to WWE in January of this year at the Royal Rumble. She adopted a persona of a ‘Karen-type.’ You might think, ‘Oh, that would be annoying,’ but it is very entertaining. I mean, this is WWE.
As a WWE superstar, Green has weathered the ups and downs of her career and is now one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, along with Sonya Deville.
WWE returns to Ottawa Saturday, August 19th, at the Canadian Tire Centre. During this card, superstars such as Cody Rhodes, Trish Stratus, Rhea Ripley, Seth Rollins and Charlotte Flair, to name a few, will be present.
I recently had the opportunity to talk with Green about her career and what fans can expect when the WWE takes over Ottawa this Saturday night.
Tickets for the WWE Supershow can be purchased here.
