Bio: Philip Lillies is a retired professional who now lives with his wife in Ottawa, in the Abiwin housing co-op. Throughout his career as an internal auditor, he was a fervent labour activist, contributing to the labour movement as a local president in the Public Service Alliance of Canada and as a director on the labour councils in Moncton and Ottawa. Philip has transitioned into retirement with continued dedication to advocacy, especially in championing human rights. While he provides unwavering support to his wife, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, Philip’s advocacy extends beyond personal matters.
