Every year, fall colours attract hundreds of thousands of visitors to NCC-managed parks and natural spaces in the National Capital Region. In response, the NCC operates a free shuttle to admire the beauty of Gatineau Park. The shuttle runs daily (except Wednesdays) from October 5 to 27. On weekends, it runs every 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa-Gatineau and from the Chelsea Visitor Centre.

Users can board and disembark at any of the following stops: Pīndigen Park, Canadian Museum of History, Montcalm, South entrance (P3), Pink Lake Lookout, Mackenzie King Estate, Lauriault/Mulvihill, King Mountain, Champlain Lookout, Camp Fortune, Visitor Centre.

Of note: The weekend service uses school buses that are not wheelchair accessible, but there is a paratransit service for people with reduced mobility.

The free NCC shuttle is an initiative of the Gatineau Park Master Plan, which aims to promote alternative transportation to gradually reduce the impact of private vehicles on the Park.
